The Teaching Principle

Based on a teaching method developed by the UN for crisis helpers, we have created this unique communication course for all those people who don’t have time to visit a language school over a period of several months and are forced to communicate in a new language in a very short period of time.

With our revised and refined concept, we are able to teach our course participants within the short period of ten days and twelve hours daily to learn speaking the new language. This is done purely intuitively by total immersion into the target language. Therefore, we consciously train largely without writing and complicated, boring grammar explanations.

Our main focus is the communication.

Since we teach in small groups of four but not more than seven people, we can guarantee maximum learning success. All participants repeat the speaking exercises and dialogues almost always simultaneously and synchronously, and after only two to three hours, all speaking inhibitions are generally gone. Using our method, the actual speech share is at least 90% for all participants.

The entire course is interactive and by using many animations, photos, cultural and historical background information it never gets too heavy or boring. In addition, there are many photo stories with contemporary dialogues and sayings that are also synchronously repeated by the group.

JUST LISTENING AND TALKING!

Even during the meals and planned additional recreational activities we will communicate in the target language and use what was learned previously. After dinner we will also show a movie in the target language to further improve the listening comprehension.

Of course, during the first two days the participants are enormously challenged, but then they will gradually find their rhythm and notice the first learning successes.

As a result of the enormous dynamics and speed, the course is suitable for both beginners and intermediate speakers who want to improve and enlarge their vocabulary, listening comprehension and of course their pronunciation.
